From Technology to Wellness… and From One Crystal Bracelet to VerdaStones

Hi, I’m Asha Siyad, the person behind VerdaStones.

By profession, I’m a Software Engineer and Digital Marketing Specialist. By passion, I’m a Certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist, and someone who has always been fascinated by wellness, chakra meditation, mindfulness and personal growth.

 

And somewhere along this journey, I discovered crystals.

But honestly, I never planned to start a crystal jewellery business.

It All Started With a Feeling…

My interest in crystals began through my love for chakra meditation and yoga. I started learning about the different crystals traditionally associated with the chakras and became curious to understand more about them.

Then one day, almost accidentally, I walked into a beautiful crystal shop.

I still remember that moment.

I was surrounded by crystals of different colours, shapes and textures. I found myself looking at each one with so much curiosity.

I literally fell in love with them.

There was something about their natural beauty and the meanings associated with them that made me want to learn more.

I wasn't even planning to buy crystal jewellery.

But somehow, I felt like taking one home.

And then came the difficult part…

Which one should I choose?

There were so many beautiful crystals, and I had absolutely no idea which one was right for me.

That's when the lady at the shop asked me a simple question:

“What is the intention you are looking for?”

That question made me pause.

She gave me a few options, and I started thinking about what I wanted to invite more of into my life at that moment.

I eventually chose Rose Quartz and Amethyst.

That was the first time I became a proud owner of crystal bracelets.

For me, they became little reminders of self-love, meaningful relationships, calmness and inner balance.

I've continued wearing them ever since.

And Then… VerdaStones Happened

Exactly one month later, an idea came to me.

What if I could share this experience with other people?

What if crystals could become more than beautiful pieces of jewellery?

What if they could serve as a personal reminder of an intention, a goal, or something we want to consciously work towards in our lives?

And that is how VerdaStones was born.

Not from a business plan.

Not from a long-term strategy.

But from a personal experience that stayed with me.

What Does VerdaStones Mean to Me?

To me, VerdaStones is about intention.

I don't see a crystal bracelet as a magic solution or a substitute for action.

I see it as something beautiful you can wear close to you—a small, meaningful reminder of what matters to you.

When you look at your bracelet, perhaps it reminds you:

“I need to take care of myself.”

“I need to stay calm.”

“I need to believe in myself.”

“I need to keep working towards my goal.”

The crystal may carry a traditional association or meaning, but you are the one who takes the action.

Your intention.
Your effort.
Your choices.
Your journey.

The bracelet is simply there to remind you.

Building VerdaStones, One Piece at a Time

VerdaStones is still a young journey.

I'm building this little brand one piece at a time—carefully researching crystals, exploring meaningful combinations, learning about jewellery, creating content, building my website and learning e-commerce along the way.

And yes, I'm doing a lot of it myself!

From my background in technology and digital marketing to my passion for yoga and wellness, VerdaStones brings together many different parts of my journey.

Every new bracelet, every new collection and every little improvement to this website feels like another small step forward.

And I'm genuinely grateful for it.

My Intention for VerdaStones

My hope is simple.

I want VerdaStones to help ordinary people connect with an intention that matters to them.

Maybe it's self-love.

Maybe it's confidence.

Maybe it's calmness.

Maybe it's a fresh beginning.

Maybe it's simply a reminder to keep going.

Whatever your intention may be, I hope you find a crystal piece that feels meaningful to you.

Not because the crystal will do the work for you…

but because sometimes, we all need a little reminder of the work we want to do for ourselves.
